Snowball Park

The Snowball Park is a playful, interactive learning area just for Snowboarders.

Perfect for young snowboarders ready to learn in a fun, supportive group setting. First-time riders begin in our dedicated Snowball Park, located within the Glacier Learning Area, where they learn the fundamentals in a safe, beginner-friendly environment. As their skills and confidence grow, they’ll progress to beginner terrain and beyond with their instructors.

Lessons are offered in 1-hour sessions.

Snowball Park is a playful, interactive learning experience designed exclusively for young snowboarders ages 4–8. Located within our Glacier Learning Area, this one-of-a-kind program introduces children to snowboarding through movement, imagination, and fun in a safe, beginner-friendly environment.

Every feature is designed to turn learning into an adventure. With guidance from our certified instructors—and a little help from our friendly mascot, Snowball—participants explore custom-designed features that build balance, confidence, and fundamental snowboarding skills. Along the way, they’ll navigate playful obstacles, celebrate their accomplishments, and create lasting memories on the mountain.

Children also discover the importance of caring for the environment through fun, age-appropriate lessons about sustainability, recycling, and being good stewards of the mountain.

Our lessons start promptly! Please plan to arrive at the mountain 1 hour before the lesson starts so you can help your child suit up, rent equipment (if needed), and get to their lesson on time. Helmets are recommended. Book online to make a reservation. Lessons meet at the Snowball Park in the Glacier Learning Area.
