The Snowball Park is a playful, interactive learning area just for Snowboarders.
The brand-new Snowball Park is located in the Glacier Learning Area, just outside our Mountain Room. It is a playful, interactive learning zone designed for young snowboarders aged 4-8, available for 1-hour lessons during weekends & holidays. Lesson times are 12:00PM and 4:00PM on Saturdays and 12:00PM on Sundays.
With coach guidance (and our friendly Snowball mascot), kids flow through custom-designed features that build confidence while offering fun obstacles to move through and around.
The setup includes soft bumpers with high-five hands, foam arches, a kid-sized tunnel, benches for quick breaks, and a foam version of our mascot, Snowball, on a snowboard, whom participants can pose with at the end of their lesson (sometimes the real Snowball will make an appearance too!). Each area encourages movement and imagination while reinforcing core snowboarding skills.
Participants will also learn about sustainability, material sorting, and waste reduction—helping them become stewards of the mountain!
Our lessons start promptly! Please plan to arrive at the mountain 1 hour before the lesson starts so you can help your child suit up, rent equipment (if needed), and get to their lesson on time. Helmets are recommended. Book online to make a reservation. Lessons meet at the Snowball Park in the Glacier Learning Area.
