Love skiing or snowboarding? The Future Instructors Program is designed for motivated 14 and 15-year-olds who want to develop their skills, build confidence, and take the first step toward becoming a certified ski or snowboard instructor.

Over eight Saturdays, participants work alongside experienced Mount Southington instructors to learn the fundamentals of teaching, communication, safety, and lesson planning while continuing to improve their own skiing or snowboarding. It’s a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience, prepare for instructor certification, and explore a rewarding career in the snow sports industry.

Meet the program requirements, and you’ll be guaranteed an instructor position at Mount Southington when you turn 16. Even better, we’ll cover the cost of your PSIA Level I Instructor Certification, giving you a head start on your professional journey.
