A day of downhill adventure can work up a hearty appetite. We’ve got your hunger covered. Indoors or out, you’ll find something to satisfy every type of eater at Mount Southington.
This is the original red barn that was part of the dairy farm that became Mount Southington in 1964. As part of our Covid-19 response we've added the Cafe Express window to the hillside of the building.
Located at the base of Thunderbolt trail, The Mountain Room’s lofted ceilings, immense windows and warm, rustic charm make it the perfect spot for a classic ski resort meal. It also features a walk-up concession area.
That heavenly aroma drawing you toward The Red Barn is coming from the Waffle Haus, located slope side of the iconic red cowshed…and forever in your dreams.
